from 59 reviewsThis has become one of my favorite smells. Like being in a small wooden green house thats overwatered. The limestone makes this experience so special. -mimicinspace

A gorgeous, floral scent. Easy to wear and perfect for any scenario. A new, favorite go-to scent.

Surprising lily of the valley! Wicked green nighttime fragrance.

Beautiful set with a variety of notes. Each fragrance tells its own story. I’m excited to experience each one. Great value for 4 10mls.

First off, really appreciate that Tale sends a little sampler along with the big bottle so that you can try the fragrance and decide whether you'll keep the full bottle. Second, this perfume was a "wow" for me. Floral but make it dark. Longevity was great for me and on the dry down it was strong without being overpowering. I will be wearing this all summer.

I loved all the fragrances in this house and Bad Lilly is my favorite! I know it won a big award this year and the perfumer wanted to create something that was a Lilly of The Valley scent for those of us who dislike the note… he succeeded! This scent has the right amount of indolic, sweetness, and is simply joyful! Highly recommended this scent!!!!

There is a sharp green note at the opening that reminds me of L'Ombre Dans L'eau. Then the LOTV comes in, offering some rounding to the green notes. I get wafts of it as I move my body, and I'm constantly thinking, "What smells so good?" The Arts and Olfaction award was well deserved!

Beautiful, well rounded fragrance. The dry town is so creamy and nostalgic. Love it!

I had been eyeing up Tale Parfum for a while ; their discovery set had been on my wishlist for for like a year. I finally decided to to get it and WOW! I’m so glad I picked it up! The notes in each of their current fragrances are all smells that I love but Lily is a note that I am constantly on the lookout for because it’s nostalgic and reminds me of my grandmother growing up. However, it wasn’t an easy decision- I wanted and still want all of them. (I ended up picking up Fleurt very closely after!)
Anyway, I am a lover of all purple flowers; Lily of The Valley, lilac, violet, jasmine etc. I was not expecting how realistic the Lily in Bad Lily was going to be, and it’s truly breathtakingly beautiful.
It’s described as “wild, verdant, floral, luminous. A night-blooming thief. Steal her secret.” Which I think is the perfect little description of this scent.
Upon first spray, it’s decadently sweet with that photorealistic depth of the Lil of The Valley. The green notes in the background give it this bright but rainy earthiness. It’s creamy and a little dirty, but not indolic on my skin at all. I just find it to be so gorgeous and sensual. It’s so well-rounded; the notes in this fragrance dance. It has a far but not overwhelming reach and lays beautifully on my skin for hours. It has such a lovely performance all around. And there’s just something comforting and nostalgic for me- I can’t live without it.
As it dries down, you get the earthier notes of patchouli and oak moss; still sweet and mystifying from the lily and plum. I can’t say a bad thing about this perfume, I’m absolutely head over heels in love with it.

I am so happy to have found Tale- (thank you Lucky Scent!) I am so in love with all four fragrances. My favorite ended up being Rouse, it’s dry down gives me such 90’s nostalgia. I was surprised at how much I LOVED Fleurt as well, (sweet scents tend to give me a headache sometimes) but Fleurt was the perfect mix of sweet and refreshing, it reminds me of a scent you would wear on a first date💓. Stunning work on these fragrances.

Smells like walking within a botanical garden - strong floral at first but with the green and earthiness as well, before a interesting plum lingers. Sweet like a white blossoming plant, not like a cloying sugary candy

This perfume deserves all the praise.
When so many releases smell the same, this is something that truly stands out. First: The blending is masterful, no sharp edges to be found here. Bad Lily smells incredibly clean and green but it never goes too sharp. There is a beautiful humid floral component that leans fruity on my skin, all while retaining it's fresh character somehow. I will be wearing this all Summer.

It’s not easy to find a very good lily-of-the-valley perfume. I’ve only found three that I like - Guerlain Muguet, Synthetic Jungle, and this, BAD LILY. Dior Lucky Esprit de Parfum is also very good, but the aldehydes are too harsh for me. BAD LILY is beautiful, full stop. It has a well-rounded lily-of-the-valley scent that is not overwhelming, along with some green notes, creaminess, sweetness, and a slightly earthy facet. I also get musk and lightness in the dry down. It fits the vibe of an evening walk around the neighbourhood and getting ice cream at a corner shop. It is awesome and delicious, and it scratches my lily-of-the-valley itch.
